Afan has been one of the most popular mountain biking destinations in Wales for many years. Its not hard to see why with its selection of great trails, plenty of parking, hot showers, bike wash and great cafe. Afan is also easily accessible from the M4 motorway being only about 10 minutes drive North of Port Talbot.

Two of the trails here are of the difficult variety so there's plenty of potential for a challenging and strenous mountain bike ride, but there is also one beginner's trail for the less experienced. Come prepared with a quality, well-maintained bike and all the usual tools and spares.
