The track at Moelfre is typical of the Welsh competition downhill venues. You will find flat out fast sections, doubles and table tops, plenty of switchbacks and berms and some steep technical stuff.

There is a big quarry gap drop-off but sometimes this isn't included in the track. One of the most interesting sections is just before the track crosses the uplift road where a super steep drop takes you through a small stream at full speed and spits you back on to the trail opposite. Watching Steve Peat fly down hereat race speed is an eye opener.

The track ends with some high speed sweeping berms and a couple of small jumps just before you emerge in to the bottom field.
